The Ceschin family farm was born in 1884 in san Pietro di Feletto, located between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, along the renowned “white wine road”, right in the heart of the prosecco DOCG production. Here the passion for viticulture and the tradition of vines and grapes goes back to remote times. The gentle hills, the fertile soil and the mild and temperate climate are a real plus for the cultivation of vineyards.
You can see the passion of the Ceschin family in the care they used to cultivate their own vineyards, all still worked by hand and cultivated using materials coming from the local forest: the poles and supports used in the vineyards allow to keep the local landscape unchanged. Ceschin Giulio run the farm starting from 1922 together with his wife Maset Elvira. Their love and dedication brought their wines to international fame.
Since 1993 Maurilio Ceschin (son of Giulio Ceschin)j is now the owner of the company. Born in 1968, Maurilio studies in Conegliano at the well-known wine school. His aim is to carry on the paternal tradition with professionalism and innate passion.
The vineyards of the Ceschin farm are cultivated directly by Maurilio, who produces and controls all his wines.
In 1995 Maurilio expanded the Ceschin farm with the purchase of the “Tenuta La Selva” of San Pietro di Feletto, from the noble Viscuso family.
The “Tenuta La Selva” is located on a gentle hill of morainic origin, which allows Maurilio to obtain wines of excellent quality, but above all to create a new prosecco with the best organoleptic characteristics: the ESTREMO IMPERIAL CUVEE DE BERNARDIN MILLESIMATO, a very special white wine for the finest and most delicate palates in the world of prosecco.
